Closing Remarks about the Mission Work of the Congregations
In the title of his book, J. Flierl hit the central point. The title was, “A Wonder of God’s Grace: Evangelists out of Cannibals”. In the work of the Gospel, the evangelists grew in stature and in confidence, but never when held by the toddler’s reins of missionary.
The District Officer, Taylor, of Morobe, wrote Stephen Lehner as follows: “I will never grow tired of singing the song of these courageous mission helpers.” The congregations suffered many graves on these outposts. But through these experiences the congregations grew. The congregations made many visits to those being evangelized and vice versa, thus opening up anew era. (p.219.GNM)
